Fernrigg Farm

We are a small family-owned farm and kennel located in Salmon Arm (Canoe), BC, Canada.

Fernrigg Border Terriers have been in existence and breeding Border Terriers since 2002. Our dogs live with us in the house, as pets, and are well socialized. We breed for temperament, health and type. 

Our dogs come with a health guarantee and are usually sold on a non-breeding agreement only (spay or neuter). We screen our homes well and stand by our health and temperament guarantee. These dogs are our passion and it is our goal to improve the breed and preserve them for future generations to love as much as we do.

We have one to two litters per year and pups are sold at 8 – 10 weeks of age to approved homes only.

Fernrigg Welsh Ponies bred our first foal in 1998. We do not regularly breed, but we do keep some broodmares. We breed foals who exhibit the soundness, beautiful movement, friendly temperament and intelligence that this heritage breed is known for.
