Fernrigg is home to several species of livestock and pets. Those include three Maremma livestock guardian dogs (Eli, Shiloh and Joshua), a small flock of sheep, many chickens, two donkeys (Hawkeye and Brigitte), horses (Buddy, Feather, Dudley, Kokanee, Willow and Whisky), a rabbit, a guinea pig, two pot bellied pigs (Olive and Dilly), two pet rats and Eli the barn cat.
